The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay somewhat enjoyable. They were helpful in cooking meals for our children when the restaurants were closed, and the food they prepared was quite good. the owner took us to a nearby Inca tomb, which was a unique experience and something we appreciated.
Our stay at this hotel was a complete nightmare. The family that runs it was incredibly rude and intrusive.

Don't have any issues at all.

I recently stayed at Inka Khawarina Tambo Lodge for a few nights with my family. The family room was perfect for us, with a huge balcony and great views of the ruins. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including excellent wifi. The white sheets, fluffy towels, and comfortable beds made our stay even better. The location was quiet at night and just a short walk from the plaza. The hosts, despite the language barrier, were lovely and took care of our bags while we went to Machu Picchu.

We recently stayed at a lovely lodge in Ollantaytambo. The family-run establishment was perfect for our family of four, offering clean and comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. The owners were incredibly attentive, even storing our luggage after we checked out while we explored the area. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal, with a short walk to the town center and train station. The breakfast was delicious and served with hot tea, coffee, and orange juice. Our room had a beautiful terrace overlooking a nearby farm and ruins. The property itself was charming, with the option to dine outside in the yard. The dinners offered onsite were delicious and affordable, a convenient option after a long day of hiking. The owners went above and beyond, taking us to a off-the-beaten-path ruin site and even becoming our personal photographer. We couldn't have asked for better hosts and would definitely stay here again.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at this lodge. the family who runs it is amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the room was huge and newly remodeled, with breathtaking mountain views. the breakfast was delicious and filling, with avocados and fresh squeezed orange juice. Tea was available all day, and they even did our laundry at a fair price. the owners gave us a free tour of Incan ruins behind the lodge, sharing their knowledge and passion.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The en suite bathrooms were spacious and featured powerful showers that were always hot. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short walk away from the village center and with a stunning view of the nearby ruins. One of the best aspects of our stay was the caring and thoughtful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of.
While the breakfast was delicious, it was a bit on the expensive side. However, it was worth it considering the quality of the food and the fact that it was comparable in price to restaurants in the touristy center of town.

We had a wonderful time at this lodge. the location was beautiful, with a partial view of the mountains and Ollantaytambo from the back patio. the staff, although they didn't speak English, were incredibly kind and helpful. They provided great suggestions, allowed us to check in early, and cooked us a delicious breakfast. the bathrooms were clean and well-ventilated. the lodge was also very quiet, situated next to a river but still in the first part of the small town. it was a nice experience. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.
